Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy

  • The pelvic floor explained

The pelvic floor consists of a group of muscles located at the base of the pelvis. These muscles play an important role in the proper function of the bowel, bladder, and sexual organs, while also providing support to the internal pelvic organs. This complex structure is crucial for maintaining the body's physical balance and stability. To learn more about the many conditions associated with the pelvic floor, click here.

  • Physical therapy treatment for pelvic floor conditions

As experts in the musculoskeletal system, physical therapists are uniquely qualified to provide effective treatment for the muscles of the pelvic floor. Your therapy plan may include a variety of techniques, such as targeted exercises, manual therapy, education, neuromuscular re-education, biofeedback, therapeutic ultrasound, and electrical stimulation. Through a personalized approach, we can help you restore optimal pelvic floor function and improve your overall quality of life.

  • Out-of-Network Provider

Our top priority is to provide you with the highest quality of care possible. For this reason, we have made the decision not to contract with insurance companies. This allows us to offer personalized treatment that is not limited by insurance coverage and ensures that you receive our full attention during every one-on-one treatment session. After each visit, we can provide you with a detailed superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. To help you navigate this process, we can provide you with a list of questions to ask your insurance company.

  • Direct Access

As a direct access state, Florida allows you to initiate treatment without a referral. This means you can seek our services without first obtaining a referral from your doctor. However, if you wish to continue treatment beyond 30 days from your initial evaluation, you will need a referral from your doctor. We are happy to assist you in obtaining the necessary referral to continue your treatment with us.
